UXO Risk Assessment

G-tek can do a risk assessment on the potential UXO risk. The first step is collecting historical information.

From this a Conceptual Site Model (CSM) is developed:

1. The probability of munitions existing on the site.
2. The type and inherent level of hazard that those munitions represent.
3. The probable depth distribution of the munitions.
4. The probable horizontal distribution of the munitions.
5. The interaction between the hazard and the end-users.
6. Proposed methods of mitigating the risk to acceptable levels (if required).

The next step is collecting ground data to confirm the expected UXO distribution.
