About G-tek

In January 2002, G-tek Australia Pty Limited (G-tek) was created through a merger between Explosives and Ammunition Technologies Pty Limited (EXAT) and the operational arm of Geophysical Technologies Limited (GTL); former ADI geophysical and ammunition technical staff joined this new organisation and it become the largest explosive ordnance/geophysics entity in Australia, with a mixture of corporate (GTL) and private ownership. G-tek took EXAT's position on the inaugural Australian Department of Defence Unexploded Ordnance Panel (DUXOP) and was Certified by United Nations (Operations) for UXO works in Timor Leste (East Timor).

Flags

Since its inception, G-tek has also undertaken mineral exploration projects for many of the world's largest mining companies and has been commercialising Sub-Audio Magnetics (SAM) technology through the conduct of mineral exploration contracts and further refining the SAM technology for application to UXO with the support of the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).

In 2005, G-tek Australia Pty Limited reverted to full private ownership, and, since that time, has focussed its attention on the UXO and environmental remediation markets.
